A pleasant surprise awaits you as you visit the third oldest city in the U.S. The day in Newark includes a tour of the local historical sites such as Military Park where you will see the “Wars of America” monument by Gutzon Berglum (Mount Rushnore) , the 300 year old Washington sycamore tree, the staue of Abraham Lincoln overlooking the Old Courthouse which was designed by Cass Gilbert (U.S. Supreme Court), and parks designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (Central Park). Lunch is I nthe famolus Ironbound District, featuring Spanish/Portuguese Cuisine. The afternoon is spent visiting the acclaimed Newark Museum of Art.

Tour the town of Princeton, home to Fitzgerald, Einstein, Presidents Cleveland & Wilson, and others. After lunch at the Nassau Inn, take a campus tour of the university including the gardens, chapel, and athletic complex. Whne the tour ends, you will be a true Ivy Leaguer.

| VICTORIAN CAPE MAY |
A drive down the shore to the Southern tip of New Jersey brings us to the oldest shore resort in New Jersey. We leave our coach and board a trolley for a tour of the Victorian homes of Cape May. After the trolley tour we enter the Emlen Physick Estate for a guided tour. After a luncheon in Cape May, we conclude our tour at the Cape May Lighthouse (ideal at Sunset).
